I am deeply honoured to have been appointed by Liberal leaders Angus Taylor and Jane Hume as Shadow Minister for the Digital Economy, Shadow Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, and Shadow Minister for Cyber Security.
I’m proud to serve my community as their local voice in Australia’s Parliament, and now as a Shadow Minister, focused on protecting Australians’ way of life and lifting our standard of living.
Having worked in the digital economy prior to entering politics, I know firsthand there are exciting opportunities waiting to be unlocked to address our slumping national productivity, create jobs, and give Australians more time to spend with loved ones.
While AI and automation have long been part of our modern economy, the digital economy I envision for our nation is one which unlocks our everyday potential.
Whether it’s farmers monitoring crops with drones, tradies quoting online, tap and go payments, speeding up housing approvals, or access to telehealth appointments in regional communities – we have technology at our fingertips that can make lives easier, more enjoyable, and more productive.
I’m determined to make sure we make the most of our transformative digital opportunities to lift our standard of living. This includes protecting Australians from cyber security adversaries who are seeking to threaten our Australian way of life.
We are a team with one purpose: to restore Australians’ standard of living and protect our way of life. Because Australia is worth fighting for.
