I believe it is important to involve community in community decisions. To do so, I hosted my Casey Community Leaders Forum.

Working together with independent deliberative engagement organisation, Democracy Co and local facilitation business, Hatrick & Co, I held a two-part forum allowing local leaders to come together and shape our collective future.

The forum began with an online event where local leaders shared ideas to discuss at the in person forum, which was held on Sunday 7 July.

Across both events, over 60 local leaders gathered to envision our future community and discuss ways to strengthen our region across many critical areas, including food security, affordable housing, creating stronger families, social connection, disaster planning and resilience and mental health.

It was heart-warming to see leaders from across the electorate develop connections while working together to strengthen the Casey region into the future. You can view the full report here: Report – Casey Community Leaders Forum

As a proud third generation resident of Casey, my role is to listen to community and be a strong, local voice for our region. Thank you to all those who participated in this form as we work together towards an even stronger Casey.
