We have no emergency room or Urgent Care Clinic here in the Yarra Ranges and that’s making it harder and harder to see a doctor in our community.

  • Ensure accessible and affordable healthcare for everyone.
  • Incentivise junior doctors to become GPs through increased payments, leave entitlements, and pre-vocational training.

A strong pipeline of home-trained GP graduates is crucial to delivering essential healthcare to communities like ours. Without immediate action, the shortage of doctors will only worsen, making it even harder for families in the Yarra Ranges to access the medical care we need.
