An elected Liberal Government will deliver $300,000 to upgrade the change rooms and facilities at Wesburn Park to make them accessible for all players.
Liberal Member for Casey, Aaron Violi MP, made the commitment at Wesburn Park.
“Currently at Wesburn Junior Football Club, girls and boys have to use the same outdated change rooms.”
“The facilities at Wesburn make it hard for the club to grow participation among women and girls. This funding will go towards a much-needed upgrade of the change rooms to increase accessibility and ensure women in the Upper Yarra have the facilities they deserve while playing sport,” Mr Violi said.
