An elected Liberal Government will invest $365,000 towards lighting upgrades at Monbulk Regional Soccer Centre to ensure a safer and more enjoyable experience for local players.
Federal Member for Casey, Aaron Violi, has been fighting for funding towards lighting upgrades to ensure players from all over the Hills and Yarra Valley can enjoy the benefits of soccer, long after the sun goes down.
“Upgrading the lights on the soccer pitches will ensure a safer and more enjoyable experience for local soccer players and residents who use the pitches. Upgraded lighting also reduces energy consumption to save costs and cut emissions,” Mr Violi said.
What this means for Casey:
✅ Upgraded lighting to allow longer use of the pitches at Monbulk Regional Soccer Centre
✅ Modern and accessible facilities for people of all ages, genders, and abilities
✅ Stronger community connections through sport, health, and well-being
This project is part of the Liberals’ plan to build stronger communities and get Australia back on track.
