Where we live, reliable phone service is a lifeline. It’s essential for emergency services, local businesses and everyday communication.
The former Liberal government improved local network capabilities by investing in phone towers in East Warburton, Steels Creek, Reefton, Mt Evelyn, McMahons Creek, Silvan, Menzies Creek and two in Chum Creek.
Under the Albanese Government, we’re not getting new mobile towers in black spots where we need them most.
Since being elected in 2022, I have worked collaboratively with the Minister for Communications to ensure our peri-urban community was included in telecommunications funding rounds.
I’m committed to increasing our local connectivity and will always advocate for our fair share of telecommunications funding.
