An elected Liberal Government will provide $4.6 million towards an upgraded pavilion and community hub at Belgrave Heights Reserve.
Federal Member for Casey, Aaron Violi, has been working alongside Belgrave Football Netball Club, Belgrave Junior Football Club and Belgrave Cricket Club to advocate for upgraded facilities that cater for the club’s exciting growth in women’s sport.
“Belgrave sporting clubs have seen exciting growth in women’s sport, but the pavilion was built in 1950 and unfortunately, does not have the facilities that allow community to come together,” Mr Violi said.
“This funding is a contribution towards an upgrade to the Belgrave Recreation Reserve pavilion, which could benefit from becoming an emergency resilience centre in the event of a disaster and loss of power, with space for the Belgrave Men’s Shed.
What this means for Casey:
✅ Funding towards an upgraded pavilion that supports women’s participation in sport
✅ Modern, inclusive and accessible facilities for people of all ages, genders, and abilities
✅ Stronger community connections through sport, health, and well-being
This project is part of the Liberals and Nationals’ plan to build stronger communities and get Australia back on track.
